Forbes published its first-ever list on America’s Most Cybersecure Banks – ranking the top 50 banks in the nation whose website security and cybersecurity infrastructure make them best-in-class. At #15, Cathay Bank was the highest-ranked California-based bank.
“At Cathay Bank, we aspire to achieve a well-run bank that advances the financial ambition of our clients while yielding dependable returns to our stockholders,” said Thomas M. Lo, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. “We are thrilled to receive this recognition and hats off to our Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer Chris Stoneley and his team for their hard work and dedication to protecting client information.”
Since 2009, Forbes has ranked the 100 largest U.S. banks and thrifts by assets, using S&P Global Market Intelligence data for the America’s Best Banks list. In addition, Forbes created the America’s Most Cybersecure Banks list in partnership with SecurityScorecard. All qualifying banks were considered equally, regardless of whether they are customers of SecurityScorecard.
